Presentation of research results at AINA-2026

Two researchers from our project, Associate Professors at Caucasus University – Giorgi Akhalaia and Tamar Kuchukhidze – presented the results of their research conducted within the framework of the NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) Programme. The presentation took place on April 8-9 at the Rank B international conference – AINA-2026. The research results will also be published as papers.

The primary focus of the research is Post-Quantum Security. Specifically:

  • Giorgi Akhalaia presented: “Verkle Trees and FRI-Based Commitments: A Hybrid Framework for Transparent Post-Quantum Signatures”
  • Tamar Kuchukhidze presented: “Extended Review of Polynomial Commitments”

Both research papers were supervised by Professor Maksim Iavich, Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences and President of the Scientific Cyber Security Association (SCSA). The co-author is Associate Professor Razvan Bocu from Transilvania University of Brașov (Romania), who serves as the NATO-SPS Project Director.
