On 21–23 April, within the framework of the NATO SPS project “Post-quantum Digital Signature using Verkle Trees,” a 3-day intensive training was delivered at Transilvania University of Brașov by Prof. @Maksim Iavich, Corresponding Member of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences, for the project research team. The training was hosted by Prof. @Razvan Bocu, Project Director.
The training focused on advanced cryptography and post-quantum security, covering modern approaches, standards, lattice-based constructions, and scalable solutions such as Verkle trees. Strong emphasis was placed on hands-on activities, including Python-based exercises and practical implementation scenarios. The training contributed to strengthening the team’s expertise in next-generation cryptographic solutions.
As part of the visit, an open session was also held for interested students, including a presentation of the quantum laboratory and its research capabilities.
